What is HACCP?
HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points
It is a requirement of the current “Food Safety Act 2006” that you show by documentary proof that the food you is serve is safe from farm to plate. Documentation to prove due dilligence is therefore extremely important for your business protection.
HACCP is the current management tool used to adhere to these regulations. The law states that “you have to have food safety management procedures that are appropriate for your business.”
LANGFORDS food safety management file is a comprehensive system that can be easily implemented and used by all food establishments. The policy files are tailor made to your business and will have your company name on the cover. In addidion staff are trained on the 7 principles of HACCP to ensure they fully comply with the new 2006 legislation.
Training is a requirment under the law which states “those responsible for the developement and maintenance of HACCP procedures have received adequate training in the application of HACCP.”
